I have never done a live synchronous virtual ALL DAY group course before but found this to be so enjoyable. Thank you all for making this a great learning experience. The pre-exam practice was extremely helpful to be prepared for the exam format. The manual audiometer simulator was also a great learning tool. Thank you!
All instructors were easy to follow and very informative. It was evident that they truly enjoy teaching this course and want to help each person understand the importance of protecting hearing and preventing hearing loss. This class was enjoyable while educational and I will definitely want to return for my recertification.
I’ve had the privilege of working in the fire service for over 30 years, earning around 10 certifications along the way. The instructors in this course stood out as exceptionally polite, reassuring, and informative - truly the best I’ve encountered. The virtual format was seamless and effective. I couldn’t find any areas for improvement - the course was outstanding just the way it was!

The course instructors made learning very easy and the course materials were very precise especially the audiometry simulator.
Exceptional virtual course - mostly because of the presenters (Frank and Juan). and their jokes are funny. Perfect pace, content, reassuring mannerisms. Videos , pictures, tables, etc were above and beyond helpful.

Having done the refresher course previously in-person, I was a bit concerned about the course being virtual. I thought maybe it would be more difficult to stay focused and didn’t think the practicum segments would be as comprehensive. However, Juan, Frank and Hanna did such a wonderful job of presenting the material that I was actually more focused than I’ve been in previous in-person courses! Even though other students were in the class, being on camera for the course gave more of a 1:1 feeling vs. being in a physical classroom with other students. The practicum segments were just as (if not more) educational and helpful as my previous courses as well. Thanks for making my (probable last - hope to be retired within 5 years :-) ) re-cert course a great one!!

Highly intelligent and engaging professionals leading the course. Break out sessions were a nice change of pace in a virtual setting. Virtual audiometer program was a reasonable approximation for real world, manual audiometer operations. A smart combination of professionalism and family friendly hearing related “dad jokes” really broke up the content and made harder to digest materials easier to remember. Lastly, no timeline given for Juan’s audio book career launch. Please place us on the email list for that. Thank you. Will be returning to this company for the renewal courses.
