Very thoroughly taught. Loved the interaction and discussions between classmates and instructors. Audiometer simulator is amazing and great practice.

I enjoyed the up beat, humorous presentation by Frank and Juan. Every explanation was explained with a practical, real life analogy that everyone could understand. No one was ever put on the spot or made to feel inferior. I felt they all were genuinely committed to everyone’s success in gaining certification ( and maybe some passion for hearing conservation). In my 40+ years of attending professional conference’s, lectures, and oh so many certification classes, I enjoyed this one the most 10/10 would recommend ! Kudos to everyone at Earmark :)

Having done the refresher course previously in-person, I was a bit concerned about the course being virtual. I thought maybe it would be more difficult to stay focused and didn’t think the practicum segments would be as comprehensive. However, Juan, Frank and Hanna did such a wonderful job of presenting the material that I was actually more focused than I’ve been in previous in-person courses! Even though other students were in the class, being on camera for the course gave more of a 1:1 feeling vs. being in a physical classroom with other students. The practicum segments were just as (if not more) educational and helpful as my previous courses as well. Thanks for making my (probable last - hope to be retired within 5 years :-) ) re-cert course a great one!!

I thought the course was great. There was a lot of information to cover but Frank kept it “light” with his humor.

The instructors were all amazing!! They taught very well.

Highly intelligent and engaging professionals leading the course. Break out sessions were a nice change of pace in a virtual setting. Virtual audiometer program was a reasonable approximation for real world, manual audiometer operations. A smart combination of professionalism and family friendly hearing related “dad jokes” really broke up the content and made harder to digest materials easier to remember. Lastly, no timeline given for Juan’s audio book career launch. Please place us on the email list for that. Thank you. Will be returning to this company for the renewal courses.

This is an excellent way to complete the requirements when time, distance, and scheduling conflicts arise. The staff are excellent and very professional. I would take this method of recertification again.

The course was very informative! The instructors are very knowledgeable, and they bring a lot to the hearing world! Please continue to bring laughter to the course it makes the course a lot more enjoyable and free flowing. Will be back for my RE-Cert!

Course content was excellent and pertinent for both in Occupational Health and/or Safety. I really enjoyed the entire course, the way the class was split both lecture and hands on portions were useful for those of us who are hands on learners. The final day and the review were also very helpful, and I appreciated the guidance as we walked through each topic.
All the educators for this course, were passionate in helping people. They helped instill a strong understanding and knowledge base for us. It was truly refreshing, and I am glad that I was able to develop my skills from those that truly want to make a positive impact. Great class, great instructors (always nice when instructors are involved and very knowledgeable in topic of study), and interaction through the computer phenomenal!! Recommend to anyone!!

As a presenter myself, I thought the course was very good. But it was made much better by the tone of the 2 instructors, and their willingness to be patient and work with people that were struggling with the virtual technology. Instead of making it very awkward for everyone else, and embarrassing for the attendees having issues, they always had a plan B, and sometimes even a plan C to help everyone get the best out of the class. I felt very well prepared to take the exam. They really did a great job!!

The Instructors did a fantastic job both presenting the infromation and keeping the class as fun as possible. I learned far more than I expected I would and will recommend there services to anyone needing the training they offer.

The instructors were very friendly & helpful in their attempts to cover all the basics as well as answer any questions. I was very intimidated at first (mainly with the use of technology, going to different “rooms”) LOL They helped clear up and smooth out the information from the textbook, which was difficult to initially comprehend. All in all, a great class!
